The United Revolver Club           

                  Of Sacramento                 

The United Revolver club is a bullseye shooting club and although our name implies that we shoot revolvers, both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols are used by our members.  Bullseye is our Club theme but many of our members just  like to shoot for the fun of shooting.  Those wishing to compete have ample opportunity especially in the fall and winter months.  Our indoor facility is especially pleasant when the weather is cold, and is owned by the city of Sacramento.  Club night is on Tuesdays.  Monday and Thursday nights the range is open to the public as well as club members.  URC provides range safety officers each night in return for the use of the facilities on Tuesday and a reduced entry fee for members on each of the three evenings  the facility is open.   Members have  access to a lounge, kitchen and library.  Targets are provided by the club and .22 ammunition is available for purchase by members.

Membership----    $5 initiation            $20 annually    

Range entry fee---$3.00 Members       $5.00 Non-member

Youth accompanied by parent or guardian   $2.00

BULLSEYE COMPETITION                              

The United Revolver Club of Sacramento is a "Bullseye Club" with regularly scheduled NRA sponsored matches during the fall and winter months.  These matches are held on the second Sunday of each month starting in October and ending in March.

Bullseye shooters compete in three stages in each match.

Stage one -- Slow fire--10 shots  in ten minutes

Stage two---Timed fire--10 shots /5 shots in twenty seconds/target turns/5shots in twenty seconds

Stage three--Rapid Fire--10 shots/5shots in ten seconds/target turns/5 shots in ten seconds

Competition in each stage  is done with  3 types of pistols

first with a .22 cal pistol

followed with a center-fire pistol of .32 cal or above (.45cal ok)

concluding  with a .45cal pistol in each stage
